DN15-DN1000 Vortex Flow Meter Karman Principle Gas Liquid Steam Sensor

 
The vortex flowmeter produces a velocity flowmeter based on the Karman vortex principle for measurement and metering of conventional gases, vapors and liquids. The vortex flow sensor has high precision and a wide range ratio. It has no moving parts in use, which can improve mechanical stability and reduce maintenance. Vortex is almost unaffected by the temperature, pressure and composition of the medium when measuring the working volume, so it is convenient for the calibration production of the instrument. Therefore, the vortex flow sensor is widely used in production and life.
 
When a triangular column type vortex generator is provided in the fluid, regular vortices are alternately generated from both sides of the vortex generator. These vortices are called Karman vortices, and the vortex rows are arranged asymmetrically downstream of the vortex generator. Vortex is produced according to this principle. The vortex is generated by the generating body, and the high-sensitivity sensor detects the number of vortices. The number of vortices generated in a certain range is proportional to the flow rate, so the flow rate can be calculated by a precision processor.

Advanced Karman Vortex Principle for Superior Stability

Inside the meter body, a triangular vortex generator is strategically placed to create alternating Karman vortices. The frequency of these vortices is directly proportional to the flow rate, which is then captured by a high-sensitivity sensor.
